SUKI KANGAS
ABOUT ME
Suki Kangas was born in Mexico to a missionary family. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, she moved back to Mexico to work for the ministry Children are Important writing Sunday school and VBS curriculum for churches around the world. In 2015 she felt that God called her to move to India to serve the ministry from there and she moved in July 2016. She is excited to see what God has in store for her in India.
About Children are Important:
"Children’s ministry is often the most overlooked, the least budgeted, and has some of the highest turnover rates of Christian ministries. But millions of children need to hear about Jesus! That is why we devote all our time to producing original, complete, and relevant Sunday school and vacation Bible school curriculums, training materials, and other resources for children’s ministry. We do all this because we believe that Children are Important." About 10,000 churches across Latin America use our curriculum, and we recently expanded to include 19 other languages.
Suki's primary roles are graphic design and cultural research to help improve the curriculum for the churches in India, where 20% of the world's children live.
